Board of Trustees

The San Benito High School District Board of Trustees is a five-member board of elected trustees who make governance decisions on behalf of the school district community. Members are elected to serve four-year terms. Each trustee represents a different Trustee Area in our community. 

The Board meets twice per month, except during the summer. Board meetings are open to the public, and are typically held in the Davis Library at Hollister High School, unless otherwise noted.

Our Mission

The mission of the San Benito High School District is to educate all students to their highest potential so they will have the greatest range of personal options upon graduation. 

Our Vision

As the educational center of our community, Hollister High School provides a safe and supportive environment which offers challenging and equitable opportunities for all students; fosters academic achievement of all students while developing skills required for success in a rapidly changing technological world; instills a strong work ethic and respect for college and career readiness while preparing students for active and productive roles in society as adults; and promotes individual dignity, civic engagement, and respect for diversity.
